National Arts Centre, Ottawa
The National Arts Centre is at 1 Elgin St in Ottawa. Union Eleven lists weddings here for 50 to 400 guests, with floor-to-ceiling city views and a rooftop terrace for golden-hour photos.
The reception rooms are the Canada Room (150 to 350 seated), the O'Born Room (150 seated), Le Salon (100), the Rossy Pavilion (30 to 60) and the 1 Elgin restaurant (180). There is no public tour, but private visits are offered.
The Lord Elgin offers negotiated rates for guests.
Playing a wedding at the NAC
The NAC has its own official DJ supplier, and an outside DJ needs the venue's approval first. Bring me in early and I'll handle that with your event contact. I played Ashley's wedding here in July 2022. No fog, bubbles or cold sparks inside, and tear down wraps by 1 AM, so the last song lands before then.

I plan load-in and sound check inside that window, and I keep the last song well before 1 AM.
