Your date and a short call

Send me your date and your venue. Use the form on the homepage, or text or WhatsApp me. I reply within 48 hours with a yes or no on your date.

If I am booked on your date

I keep my own calendar to a set number of weddings each year. Dates go fast, so grab a quick call and I'll tell you straight whether yours is open.

If I am free, we set up a short call. I ask about your hours, your venue and how much of the day you want covered. You can also book a 30-minute call if you would rather pick the time yourself.

Nobody asks you for a deposit to talk. The call does not hold your date.

Your written quote

After the call, you get a quote in writing. It lists exactly what is booked and the total. Lighting is confirmed in the quote, and photo booths and uplighting are add-ons.

I keep prices off this page because every wedding is different. My cost page shows what moves the number. Read the quote, and ask me about anything that is unclear.

The deposit

A 50% deposit holds your date. It also locks your quoted price against later increases. You pay however works for you.

The other 50% is due 2 weeks before the wedding.

Good to know

Your deposit holds the date. Life happens, talk to me and we sort it out. Full terms are in your contract. The standards page has the plain-words version.

Your planning portal

Once you book, you get your planning portal. It is one page where you tell me about your day. It saves as you go.

Fill in what you know now and come back for the rest. Nothing reaches me until you hit send.

What you fill in
SectionWhat you tell me
Your detailsHow you want to be announced, your wedding date, how to reach you, a day-of contact, your photographer and your coordinator or planner.
TimelineRough times for each part of the day. Rough is fine.
VenuesOne block per place, if your ceremony and reception are in different spots.
Ceremony and key songsThe songs for the big moments, and whether you want me running the sound and mics at your ceremony.
Playlists and vibeYour must-play songs, the vibe you want, clean or explicit, and your do-not-play list.
MC and extrasWhether you want me on the mic, your grand entrance, the order of speeches, and any effects like cold sparks or dancing on a cloud.

Your must-play songs get played. I treat your do-not-play list as locked. Not sure about a song yet? Leave it blank.

When you finish, the portal turns your answers into a clean run sheet. You can preview it, print it, send it to me and email a copy to yourselves.

The planning call

The portal also has a place to book a quick 30-minute call with me, so we can go through everything together. You can book it before or after you fill the portal in.

The final call

A final call the week of your wedding is there if you want one.

The day

Setup is generally 1 to 2 hours, depending on the setup. I am set up and sound-checked before your first guest walks in.

I bring backup laptops, mixers, speakers, mics and cables to every wedding. I run the day top to bottom, and I read the floor as the night goes.

Who does the MC part

A friend or family member who knows both families works best for intros and speeches. I handle announcements, so they are not working all night. If you want me on the mic all night, I do that too. The best nights have a day-of coordinator. More on my wedding MC page.

After

When the night ends, there is nothing left for you to do. If you loved it, a Google review helps the next couple find me. You can read what couples say in my reviews.

Questions about booking

How soon will you reply when I send my date?

I reply within 48 hours with a yes or no on your date. Use the form on the homepage, or text or WhatsApp me at 604-968-7078. If it is your first message and you want to talk it through, say so, and we set up a short call.

Do I have to pay anything to talk to you?

No. There is no deposit to talk, and a call does not hold your date. A written quote and a 50% deposit do. So you can ask every question you have, hear how I work and take your time before you decide anything.

What if you are already booked on my date?

I tell you as soon as I check your date, before any deposit. If I am booked, you hear that first, and we work out the best option for your night on the call.

What is in the planning portal?

It is one page where you tell me about your day: your details, a rough timeline, your venues, ceremony songs, your must-play and do-not-play lists, and your MC plans. It saves as you type. When you finish, it builds a run sheet you can preview, print and send to me.

What if I do not know my songs yet?

Leave them blank. That is fine. Tell me the vibe you want, name a few artists, or drop a playlist link, and I take it from there. Your do-not-play list is the one I treat as locked, so add anything you never want to hear.

When do I pay the balance?

The other 50% is due 2 weeks before the wedding. The 50% deposit comes first and holds your date. You pay both however works for you, and the payment details come with my written quote, so you know exactly what to expect.
